Surfstore Africa will be joining the Halyards Cannon Rocks Kiteboarding Classic 2013 as suppliers. If you don’t know already, the amateur division is going to have some insane prizes.

Podium is up, Cannon Rocks Style
Yesterday whilst the locals got out the water after a beautiful session in 16 to 18 knots, a new sight was taking shape. Our podium was being built.

Cannon Rocks Plant and Tool hire to supply Stand
Once again the main Judge Tower as well as some seating for the public will be supplied by Cannon Rocks Plant and Tool Hire.
They have supported the event since the outset and we look forward to their jovial presence on the beach once again.
Meeting with the sponsors at the beach
On Wednesday we had a great meeting with the sponsors on the beach. The Halyards Hotel brought in some of their teams to do an inspection of site. The Organizing team also got to meet the Red Bull representatives who will be setting up a stand for the athletes.
Some of the structural aspects were handled by Cannon Rocks Homebuilders representative, one of our other sponsors. Many things were discussed and we feel that we have got the area covered. The beach is going to look different!!
Then the wind came up so we went kiting 🙂
Peter Lynn join as large cash sponsor!
Once again, Peter Lynn will be backing this event with a major cash injection that will “up” the prize money for the Pro competitors.
Peter Lynn has been in the Kiting industry for decades, being one of the founders of power kiting. Today their product range is expanding and taking on new Horizons. You can expect some demos of the new models to be available on the beach.
